More phone pics of the boys

Here are some phone pics that we get of the boys. We get videos to, but I can't get them to work on here. I email these to my email then save picture as...but when I bring up the videos they won't even come up at all. If anyone knows how to do this let me know! I have alot of cute videos I could post. Well Tyler just had his 9 month check up and is a very healthy boy! Weighing in at 20 1/2 pounds and is 30 1/4" tall!! He gives kisses, patty cakes, waves bye-bye, crawling, pulling up and is in to everything!! Jay and Tonya give us updates as to what he's doing.

Country accents

Here are a few things I picked up at a store here called Country Accents. They are moving to a smaller location and clearing out the current store. They had everything in the store 50 percent off!! They didn't have a whole lot left, but this is what I got. The first thing is hard to see, but it's a wooden Welcome thing that the letters are blocks that come out. Then I got the basket and the berry garland there. I had the Boyd's bear and the shutter already. It's right inside the entryway. I think it looks cute!

Not much going on

Only thing going on around here right now is across the street at the barn! A silo is up! I'm not sure if it will only be just the one, or if a second will go up. Well, that's about it. Boring, I know!! Hopefully something will be happening soon. =]

Get - together

Last night we met up with some friends for dinner and a "tour" of our house. Amber and Brayden came up from Bellfonte . We went to dinner with Amber, Brayden, Mel, Deonna, Jose, Dee, Dan, Josh, David and I. Then they all came over to our house. Dee was finally able to come check things out. It was really nice to see her. She didn't get to stay long because she works 3rd shift, but glad she could come. We just hung out then until about 10:00pm (way past my bedtime!) when everyone left. :( It was fun to get together and talk about "old times" again. We met Mel's boyfriend, Jose, for the first time. He seems very nice and really seems to care for Mel and Deonna alot! He's a very hands on Daddy. It was nice to finally meet him. ~Also, Deonna is 5 months old and now weighs 12lbs!!! She bumped up a size and is now in 0-3 month clothes! She is really cute! She's so tiny yet! It was nice to see everyone. I wish our schedules worked out that we could do it more often!!

FIREPROOF, a must see movie! It is a testiment to what a Godly marriage should be. Really shows how God wants us to treat each other, especially in a marriage. It is highly recommended!! If you want to borrow it, let me know!!

My best friend since the 6th grade, Hailey, got married on Valentine's day in NYC on the 61st floor of the Empire State Building. She entered to win this as a prize on Brides.com after Barth asked her to marry him, on top the same place! Well, she found out they were one of the 14 couples chosen to get married there! Of course I was leary, I thought it was a scam, but apparently not! Although we were not able to go due to financial reasons, we were able to watch it online live while it took place. So I was glad for that!! They are still going ahead with the wedding in July, which I am one of the Matrons of honor. They even made the front page of the local newspaper here!! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Carson!!!!!

My Christmas cactus that has only bloomed once since I've had it, but lo and behold it's blooming again!! Guess I'm getting a green thumb!!

David doesn't want to be "nosy neighbors" but, look what's going up across the street at the barn!! A silo!! Ooooo...Ahhhh! Hopefully, when the barn is full of hefers the neighbors that live in the old farmhouse decide to pack up and go....Uh oh, did I just say that outloud??? Woops!! If you only knew, and it's not even summer yet!!!

Muddy mess

Well, after our tropical heat wave the past few days most of the snow has melted away and left us with a muddy mess! We can hardly wait to have grass and a yard! When David goes out to burn the papers he brings in about 3 pounds of mud on his boots! Ha!! Today it's actually so windy our mailbox blew over! It sounded like the house was going to take flight!! It's stacked up cinder blocks and a post down through into the ground, a temporary thing by the way, and it was on the ground this morning. Although, our mailman still delivered our mail!! He would have had to get out and traipse through the mud to put it in the box! What a good mailman!!
Our peak wind gust today of 52 miles per hour ( it was just on the news!) It's to die down tonight as it is to get colder again now. :( But at least nothing else blew off or away!!

More curtains

I picked up some curtains for the office last night at Wal mart. They are Better Homes and Gardens brand, and we put them up today. We skipped on the valances here. We think it looks good without them. These pictures don't really show the true color to well, but they are like a wheat/dusty gold color with burnt orange and red dots.
We got alot accomplished again today. Cleaned, did laundry, hung curtains, started tackling cleaning up the office mess, and washed both cars and I cleaned mine out inside. It was a bit warmer today for once. It hit 45!! That's about it for today. It was nice not to have to go anywhere we could just stay home and get some things done.

We had a Superbowl party at our house yesterday. Of course our beloved Steelers won...again!! Woo Hoo!! We had tons of food and had some friends over. Eli, April & Rebeccca, Matt, Erin & Austin, and Kevin and Janine were able to stop by for a bit which was nice!! We had alot of fun having everyone over. Playing with the babies was also fun!! ;) It was a late night, but worth it!! We have awesome friends!! Well Superbowl champs for another year!!!
