Update on Mom

So, Friday's appt went great.  She didn't need anything and she was released back to work for 4 hours a day and started back Monday. She was happy and excited but very overwhelming for her.  We have redone everything since she's been gone for the past 11 months.  Started a new system, etc.  She basically has to start from scratch.  I told her the excitement would soon wear off.  And today I think it did.  They took her in the office and said they were taking her group leader position away.  They are letting the acting group leader keep it because she's been doing good since Mom's been off.  Their not saying she couldn't get it back in a year or so when she's retrained. She was kind of devastated.  Anyone that knows my Mom knows although she would never admit it, work is her life.  Up until she got sick she had NEVER missed a day, EVER, not one in 16 years of being there.  And this is the thanks she gets? Sorry. Guess to bad for you if you get Leukemia and have to take time off to get healthy. To bad for you.  Not to mention the acting group leader is another lady in the stockroom that we eat lunch with and she's friends with.

They did sort of the same thing to me after I got back from maternity leave.  Turned my world upside down.  And my once "friend" that had done it while I was gone, is still the group leader a year later and I got moved out.  So upsetting the lack of care, crappy morale or just plain feelings of people going through stuff!  She's been back for 2 days, give her a break!! So, she's very upset.  It's like everyone just moved on without her.  One of the girls even basically ignores her.  (She's something else!! Grr)  Just wanted to let people know she went back to work which is good in ways, but bad in others.  Pray for her please! (And for me to keep my big mouth shut! Especially when I feel like people are treating my Mom badly!) Thanks!!

Kaylynn's Birthday Bash!

Saturday we finally had Kaylynn's 2nd birthday party.  Strawberry Shortcake themed.  I made all the cupcakes and home made soft icing and home made strawberry shortcake with strawberries.  We had party pizza's from Weis and ice cream.  It was a lot of fun!  We didn't have time to take to many pictures as we had approx. a total of 30 people and 9 were kids.  They got to have some fun outside in the playhouse, sandbox, pool and water table.  Of course no birthday party would be complete with out a thunderstorm!! It poured! But it would clear up a bit in between the rain showers for them to play and have fun.  She got clothes, Barbie's  doll baby's, sandbox, sand toy's, wheelbarrow with a rake and shovel, etc, a little plastic mini wagon.  She loves everything she doesn't know what to play with first.  All in all we all had a good time.  The kids got David completely soaked from head to toe. Ha!
We probably could have done without the 8 million flies though.  Ugh. So. Many. Flies. They are so annoying!!  Literally I bet there were hundreds that would not go away! Joys of living by a full heifer barn I guess.

Couldn't even wait until it was together.

Daddy wrote a message in the sand. (Sandbox was from my 2 sisters)

Thought I was gonna say I was pregnant, didn't ya? LOL! Nope, not yet!  Mom had an appt at Hershey today and her numbers are still coming up and he's released her back to work!! 4 hours a day for now! But she is so happy and cannot wait!  She has not worked since Aug 30th of last year.  She goes back to her Doc on August 14th.  So, we'll see how it goes!! Her last apt she had 98% of my Aunt's stem cells! So thank you Lord! And thanks for all your concern and prayers!!

Kaylynn Turns 2!!

Kaylynn turned 2 years old on Fri July 12th.  Where has the past 2 years gone?  Honestly?? She is 2 going on 12 I tell ya!  She says so many words and learning more everyday.  She loves to play outside doing pretty much anything.  She loves cows and farm stuff.  She loves the water and swimming!  She loves playing with her babydoll's.  She cautious, yet adventurous. She is such a Blessing and we love her bunches and bunches.  Which she can also say ( love you, bunches and bunches )and it's enough to melt you right into a puddle when she does.

Since her party isn't for a few more weeks we just did a couple little special things for her.
This is what she did while we sang to her.

This is her blowing it out.
 Something from Mommy and Daddy.

 It's a Cabbage Patch Doll.
After a happy meal we went to the park and played.

***This weekend we officially moved her out of the crib and into a twin bed.  We hope to get her a full bedroom suit in Oct.  She was quite upset last night when he put her in it.  She sleeps in a bunk bed at the sitter's but I think she was just unsure about it.  After what seemed like an hour we let her cry it out for awhile.  She never tried to get out and finally settled down.  Slept all night didn't even get out she called for Daddy this morning! Yeah! Taken 2 naps  in it today. Very proud and sad moments for Mommy and Daddy.***

Cute bedding from my Mom she got on clearance a long time ago! I got the hot pink sheets.

Rail so she won't fall out.
