Mini Vacation

Hello! We made our way to Burnham for not only a much needed mini vacation but for Kaylee's 1st birthday party. These pictures say it all. The girls just took to David! Especially Kaylee! They said she never has taken to a person like she did with David! She doesn't let many people "hold" her, but she immediately went to him and was by his side the whole time! I told him on our way there that after we leave he would want girls! He said no way, he wants boys! Well, after the way she was clinging to him, he changed his mind ! Now he wants a little girl! After her party she was so tired and needed a nap but wouldn't let anyone hold her, so they gave her to David she went right to sleep in his arms!! I think that is what did it! We went to dinner on Sat. night and went to Joel and April's Church, The Upper Room. It was very laid back and very nice. Then we were off to Aunt Faith and Uncle John's for dinner. It was a full spread!! She made us ham, parsleyed potatoes, veggie medley, applesauce, corn, creamed lettuce salad, and the best part, chocolate cake with peanut butter icing!!! YUMMY!! We got to spend some time with them at their home across the street from Joel and April. Then Birthday party time! We had more cake and ice cream! She got allot of cute toys and clothes!
We really didn't want to leave! We almost stayed another night. They have a very nice home and really fixed it up! I really liked April's decor. It's country, like my style!! It has a pool also, so Jayna can't wait until July for her pool party. And Aunt Faith and Uncle John too! Their home is very nice also!! But, we came back home and back to the grind! We are in the process of getting the car fixed so hopefully it will be okay. Well, until next time!!!
